Remember when you saw these movies for the first time? Did your mind go blank right out of your skull?
Throw on that helmet again, because we’re going to destroy your mind!
Movies have complex ideas, complicated characters, and amazing storylines.
Most of the time, at least.
The storyline of a movie can send you on a roller coaster of emotions.
Including plots that tend to keep us on our toes.
BEWARE OF SPOILERS!
Don’t worry, the name of the film will be in the title, so you’ll get a lot of warnings before you see the movie.
1. Moon.
Sam Bell is a guy who discovers a bunch of clones of himself on his Moonbase.
He doesn’t know that he’s a clone and that the real Sam Bell is with his family.
2. Spider-Man: Homecoming
The best twist in a movie so far. Adrian Toomes is Peter’s prom date.

In the end, we find out that Verbal is Keyser Sze and Kujan.
It was too late. Keyser was already gone.

She was a murderer in disguise. Mind is blown.

The audience likes mystery movies. Who was the murderer? He was away at the time and it couldn’t have been him.
When the answer is everyone is the murderer, things get interesting.

After all the torture and abuse, he gets his comeuppance. Andrew testified against him.
We thought that Andrew had testified against him. We were wrong.
11. Black Swan.
When she’s onstage, she realized that she actually stabbed herself, not the other way around.
Don’t go for ballet, that’s for sure.
12. Toy Story 2.
Zurg being Buzz’s father was a cool twist, but it was probably a Star Wars joke.
Stinky Pete was the villain? Some kids were messed up by that twist.
13. The Sixth Sense.
The thing that launched M is possibly the greatest and most prolific twist of all time. Night Shyamalan has a career. You know it, come on.
Bruce was dead the whole time.
14. Get Out.
Chris was trying to get out of the house when Rose held his keys up.
Chris and the rest of us knew what was going on. She was a part of the scheme all the time.
15. La La Land.
At the end of the movie, we get a beautiful, dreamy scene of Mia and Sebastian living happily ever after.

The mother of the children noticed that the old people they were staying with weren’t their grandparents, but escaped mental patients.
22. Psycho.
The most prolific twist of all time is probably the last Sixth Sense comment.
You know the drill. Norman was pretending to be his mother all the time.

We’re told in the movie that life outside the train has ended.
At the end of the movie, the people on the train see a polar bear.
31. Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
The most prolific twist of all time is what I said about Psycho.
Darth Vader told the Jedi that his father wasn’t dead.
The world changed for us.
32. Iron Man.
This one messed us up, but it still messed us up.
We weren’t expecting Tony to come out and tell everyone he was Iron Man, and then not see the repercussions for a while.
33. Avengers: Endgame.
We’re on the subject of Stark. Tony Stark’s death was something that no one expected.
He was not able to stand the test of time.
Which movie plot twist messed you up the most?
There are plenty of movies out there, so pretty sure you can think of one.
