Kohei Horikoshi, the Japanese Manga Artist, is famously known for his manga series Ōmagadoki Dōbutsuen, Barrage, and My Hero Academia.
Horikoshi started his career as an assistant to Yasuki Tanaka, the creator of Summer Time Rendering, Hitomi no Catoblepas, and Kagijin.

My Hero Academia Author, Kohei Horikoshi, Reveals His Comfort Mangas
We all know that author Horikoshi loves Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto. In fact, Naruto, the manga that he grew up with, served as an inspiration to come up with his creation of the manga, My Hero Academia.
Apart from Naruto, One Piece, Akira, Tekkonkinkreet, and Boys on the Run, Horikoshi revealed his comforting mangas in the last issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, and fans are surprised to know the list.

Skip and Loafer: All About It
Skip and Loafer is a rejuvenating slice-of-life manga created by Misaki Takamatsu. Serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon, Skip and Loafer has also been adapted into an anime series by P.A. Works, based on the same name.
Skip & Loafer is about Mitsumi, a girl from the outskirts of Ishikawa Prefecture who grew up in a sparsely populated area with just eight kids in her class. When she moves to Tokyo to join a high school, she gets lost in the crowds of the big city. That’s when she meets Sousuke Shima, who decides to help her by keeping her company on the way to school.

Blooming Love: All About It
Blooming Love is also a romantic slice-of-life manga created by Daichi Kawada. The manga was released recently in Shonen Jump+ on May 9, 2023.
The manga will delve into the development of Shinatro Ibuki, a frail high school student, and Kyoko Sugisaki, another high school student who always carries a scowling face, and their shared love for art. It is not just about romance but also about how one can be passionate about their hobby.
