The few initial panels of Chapter 407 featured a woman who was suffering from a hardened growth of two spiked-shaped tumors on her left arm. She wasn’t aware of her pregnancy until the eighth month since the two babies growing inside her were weakening her day by day. Later on, she gave birth to two babies at the bank of the river, and before passing away, her tumors mysteriously disappeared from her arms.

The two babies were none other than All For One and Yoichi. My Hero Academia Chapter 407 showed how AFO was a greedy child from the beginning of his life, entitled enough to think that the world belonged to him. The following few scenes cut to a year later when a glowing baby was born in China. The discovery of metahuman abilities started to spread quickly and these skills were found not only in newborns but also in those going through adolescence. Yoichi had faith in AFO even if he was disrespecting him since, as an infant, AFO had shown kindness toward Yoichi when he held his hand. But AFO was something else entirely. The fact that the “glowing baby” had already amassed ten million followers and that AFO was not the only “glowing baby” in the world infuriated him. He killed the “glowing baby” and took his powers as he lacked the authority to order these people on his own.
All For One’s Goal
All For One’s goals were further disclosed in My Hero Academia Chapter 407, wherein he revealed that comic books served as inspiration. Yoichi, who spoke of wanting to be a hero in this chapter, made AFO take the role of a villain to establish a world that was solely his. The previous panel abruptly changed to show Kudou taking Yoichi away. This irritated AFO, who stated that he had already given Yoichi his powers and was baffled by why Yoichi was going. To stop him from leaving, he angrily cut Yoichi’s hand.
