A small group of conservative Hollywood producers, influencers, and producers attended a private, invitation-only screening of My Son Hunter this week in Los Angeles. They stood to their feet and cheered during an early look at the upcoming film, which is now available for pre-order and will be streamed and downloaded on September 7.
According to a Newsweek report, about 70 people gathered on Wednesday in a private viewing room without the fanfare often associated with premieres — no red carpet, no photographers, and no queue of adoring celebrity reporters.
According to reports, viewers applauded the film and complimented filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Anne McElhinney for having the guts to make it.
While the majority of attendees wished to remain anonymous – “Hollywood is in such hyper-cancel culture mode today,” one said – a few well-known people consented to their names being recorded.

Dean Cain, who plays Lois & Clark, explained to Newsweek why he thinks the film deserves to be viewed.
“This Hunter Biden situation is a story that needs to be told, and it hasn’t been by the mainstream media. This is unprecedented. The media was in bed with Joe Biden and wanted the last election to go a certain way,” he said.
According to reports, Justified star Nick Searcy was also present.

Laurence Fox’s character Hunter Biden’s murky international business operations and dubious personal life are dramatized in the movie My Son Hunter. Before focusing on the “laptop from hell,” which the mainstream media tried to obscure in an effort to support Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, the film shows Hunter’s drug- and sex-fueled existence.
John James portrays Joe Biden in the film, and Gina Carano plays a Secret Service agent.
Attendees of the L.A. showing were reportedly addressed by director Robert Davi (License to Kill, Die Hard) via Zoom. Separately, he stated the following to Newsweek: “I don’t believe any voice should be held down in America, as the left is doing… In Hollywood today, most conservatives are afraid to speak up. That has got to change.”
My Son Hunter is available for PRE-ORDER RIGHT NOW at MySonHunter.com. On September 7, the movie will be available for streaming and downloading.
