Narcos Mexico Season 2 official trailer was released on January 29 by Netflix and it reveals a lot of important information about the storyline. Sinaloa, Tijuana, Juarez, and Gulf cartels have united to form Felix’s empire and the tagline says, “With an empire on the line, nothing stays pure.” Narcos Mexico Season 2 episodes will premiere on Netflix from Thursday, February 13, 2020, and it can be binge-watched as all the episodes will be available to stream.

Narcos Mexico Season 2 won’t have Michael Pena in the cast as his character Kiki Camarena was killed at the end of the fist season. However, Pena could still appear in the second season in form of flashbacks or as a memory to Walt Breslin. Narcos Mexico Season 2 plot will show the rise of the Guadalajara drug cartel in Mexico during the 80s after illegal drug deals started to bloom and made all the drug lords rich and powerful. It was also the same time when DEA started their fight against the dealers and its main leader, Felix Gallardo.
Also, the death of Kiki Camarena will be a motivation for his colleagues and the entire DEA in season 2 of Narcos Mexico to end the drug cartels and finish what he started.
