It has made everyone question the ability of the team, which is a very huge deal. There are many weakness in the Golden State Warriors, which they need to fix before the 2020 NBA finals.
Shooting Guards
While the Warriors has many talented shooters such as Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson, but there is no one at the other side of the court to score. There is no shooting depth in the team, and hardly any of the new players is good at 3-point shooting. Jordan Poole and Eric Paschall are the new recruits for the Warriors, but they are only average players. The Warriors need to train them to create proper shots and shoot from a distance.
Turnovers Ratio
The Golden State Warriors have one of the worst turnover ratios in the last few seasons. Even in the latest NBA 2018-19 season, the Warriors just had a turnovers ratio between 14.3 to 14.9 until the finals. The main reason for the issue is player fatigue, which the team can work on.
The Warriors team has been continuously playing a lot of games since the last few years. One possible solution is to give the players a mental and physical break. It would give them time to think, they can focus more and the Warriors turnovers ratio will improve.
Player Injuries
The finals between Raptors and Warriors could have a different winner if Kevin Durant was not injured. Durant rupturing his Achilles tendon in the fifth final match totally changed the results. Even the other top players like Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney are also injured.
It is one of the main problems for the Warriors which needs to be addressed. One possible solution is to not have too many games with a single player and give them rest in rotation.
