The Chicago Bulls guard and forward DeMar DeRozan is expected to get acquired by the Miami Heat this offseason. Both the Bulls and the Heat want to make changes to their roster for different reasons. While the Bulls have been craving a competitive squad for a while now since nothing seems to work for them, the Heat want to give some finishing touches to their roster, which did great last season.
The USC Trojans product DeRozan played 74 games for the Bulls last season and averaged 24.5 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game while shooting 32.4 percent from beyond the arc. The Heat would love to have him on their roster after looking at his impressive stats. Will the Bulls blow up their roster once again? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat involving DeMar DeRozan.
What would the Heat offer for DeMar DeRozan?
The Heat are expected to offer Kyle Lowry and a 2027 first-round pick in exchange for the Bulls’ #11. No matter how good a player individual is, his impact on the team as a whole is what matters for the management. The 34-year-old has brilliant stats, but the Bulls’ struggles haven’t ended anyhow.
DeMar DeRozan is quietly well on his way to top 20 all-time in scoring. As it stands – 21,685 career points – he’s 39th in NBA history and 7th among active players. He’s now averaged 20+ PPG in ten straight seasons and has played in 93% of all possible games for his career. pic.twitter.com/nc89y1khaN

Why would the Heat like to sign DeMar DeRozan?
Damian Lillard was the Heat’s target this summer, but they failed to land him. They could not offer what the Blazers wanted in return for their superstar, and even after the player’s desire to play for the Heat, Damian is a part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ roster now. The Heat need to find a replacement for the Blazers’ guard, and DeMar would be a great fit for that.
Happy 34th Birthday to @DeMar_DeRozan

Why would the Bulls trade-off DeMar DeRozan?
The Bulls are expected to go into another rebuilding phase without even tasting the fruits for the one they went through in the recent past. The Bulls are getting a decent player and a very valuable draft pick which would help them in their rebuild.
Will the Bulls really go through another rebuild, or will they make a star signing with their assets? How will the Heat lineup without Damian and Lowry? We’ll keep you updated.
