The Chicago Bulls guard and forward DeMar DeRozan is likely to play for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the upcoming season. The Bulls have struggled a lot lately, and in addition to that, Lonzo Ball will not feature for the Bulls this season due to an injury. Everything else has failed to work for them, and we might see the Bulls blowing their roster yet again. Will they replace their star players with some other stars?
The USC Trojans product DeRozan played 74 games for the Bulls last season and averaged 24.5 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game while shooting 32.4 percent from beyond the arc. Individually, he had a brilliant season, but the Bulls’ woes did not end. A player like him would be someone a team like Thunder would love to sign. Can they make it happen? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Chicago Bulls and the Oklahoma City Thunder involving DeMar DeRozan.
What would the Thunder offer for DeMar DeRozan?
The Thunder are expected to offer Davis Bertans, Victor Oladipo, and a top 10 protected 2024 first-round pick in exchange for the Bulls’ #11. The Knicks are rumored to have offered a similar package for the player. It’d be interesting to see which team manages to get the player on their roster. Will the Thunder throw in another draft pick for the 34-year-old?
DeMar DeRozan is quietly well on his way to top 20 all-time in scoring. As it stands – 21,685 career points – he’s 39th in NBA history and 7th among active players. He’s now averaged 20+ PPG in ten straight seasons and has played in 93% of all possible games for his career. pic.twitter.com/nc89y1khaN

Why would the Thunder like to sign DeMar DeRozan?
The Thunder have got a lot to spend, and they probably can’t use all the draft picks they have at the moment. Whatever they are giving up here is not that significant for them. A veteran would surely strengthen the Thunder’s squad. He is on an expiring deal as well, and the Thunder would have an option to retain him.
Happy 34th Birthday to @DeMar_DeRozan

Why would the Bulls trade-off DeMar DeRozan?
The Bulls might rebuild again before they could even enjoy the fruits of the last one. This deal gives them two players along with a top-10 protected draft pick, which is likely to push them to make this deal. DeRozan’s individual brilliance has not served them much success anyway.
How will the Bulls line up next season? How will the Thunder use their remaining draft picks? We’ll keep you updated.
