Free agency 2019 is going to be the biggest ever trade event in the entire history of the NBA. As any deal won’t be called as official until July 6, there are high chances that more players can turn into free agency. Here are some of the big names that should become a free agent to get a much better deal.
Bradley Beal – Washington Wizards
Washington Wizards was once a champion team, but now it is hardly winning even in the playoffs. There are no chances it can get to the finals in the next NBA season as it lacks the team combination. Otto Porter Jr. and Kelly Oubre Jr. are already traded out and it will no use of staying in the team anymore now.
Bradley Beal is a young and talented player who can get a way better deal and a team that can be a contender for the finals. He currently has a track record of an average 5.5 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Beal is currently held in for a mere $27 million; there will be a lot of teams willing to pay more than it.
Blake Griffin – Detroit Pistons
Detroit Pistons is another of such team which was eliminated early in the playoffs by the Milwaukee Bucks. They have surely got Sekou Doumbouya at the No. 15 draft pick, but the player is just 18 years old and needs more experience.
Blake Griffin is the currently the biggest star of the Pistons, who is somehow always injured. It would be better for both Griffin and the Detroit team that they part their ways. A fresh start could be great for Blake Griffin, as he can get a better deal and a more stable team.
Domantas Sabonis – Indiana Pacers
Domantas Sabonis is a great player for the Indiana Pacers, but his career is going nowhere with the team. The player is young at the age of just 23 years and had an average of 20.4 points, 13.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
There are so many better options for Sabonis if he decides to become a free agent. To further make things worse, the Pacers got Goga Bitadze at the No. 18 pick, who is almost similar to Sabonis. It means it is time and Domantas should leave the Pacers for a team in which he can grow as an individual.
Hassan Whiteside – Miami Heat
Miami Heat doesn’t seem to care much for Hassan Whiteside and seems to take him for granted. They are getting new and young players in the draft trade at a price higher than him. While Hassan has a much better average of 9.4 points, 17.0 rebounds, 2.7 blocks per game, he is not getting his worth.
It is time that he should leave the Miami team and risks for some better deals. There are a lot of NBA teams that could use a talented player like him. It would be best for Whiteside to enter into free agency 2019 as an unrestricted agent.
