DeMarcus Cousins is another name from the Golden State Warriors who are going into 2019 free agency. The Warriors team will be very much broken as Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Cousins will leave the team soon. DeMarcus has outstanding stats for the last NBA season with 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per match.

There were some problems in his defense, but given his recovery mode, it will be worked out soon. Now that he is healthy and ready to play again, most of the NBA teams would be interested in Cousins. Here are the possible trade options for the veteran star DeMarcus Cousins and the NBA teams to make a trade for him.
Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers have been a previous contender for DeMarcus Cousins and can finally get him again. After having Anthony Davis, they are a little low on the money, but that can be arranged by trading out some more players. The duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis needs someone with experience to support them, and Cousins is an ideal candidate.
Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings needs a replacement for Willie Cauley-Stein as the star player is leaving the team. DeMarcus Cousins have previously played for the Kings, and a reunion is totally possible. Cousins was traded out from the Kings in 2017, and in the two years, many things are changed. Nikola Vucevic or Al Horford are some other names that Sacramento Kings can look for, but they will be a lot expensive than Cousins.
Boston Celtics
There were reports earlier which state that if DeMarcus Cousins has not joined the Warriors, he would have gone to the Boston Celtics. Al Horford and Kyrie Irving are leaving the Celtics team, which gives them both the motive and money for a new player. Maybe the Celtics could offer Horford or Irving some more money and compel him to stay, but Cousins will be a much better choice.
Golden State Warriors
With Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson leaving, the Warriors need someone with experience to lead the team into the next NBA finals. Although Cousins won’t get that good of a deal from Warriors this year, he can secure a future deal. In the next year of NBA, Cousins can be the top scorer for the Warriors team, which will increase his value in the next NBA trade season. But given his injury history, there are very fewer chances that DeMarcus Cousins will be willing to take a risk.
