The Golden State Warriors dynasty seems to be coming to an end. The Warriors are sitting at the 11th position in the Western Conference, and one of the key reasons is their shooting guard, Klay Thompson.
Thompson is already in the final year of his contract with the Golden State, and the shooting guard has been negotiating for his extension contract. However, after a poor start, the Warriors are more likely to move him.

The 5 times NBA all-star is going through his worst season in the NBA. Klay Thompson is getting enough time on the court, but he is only averaging 15.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting around 40.6% of the shots from the ground and 36.1% of the shots from the 3-point line.
Klay Thompson Blames Coach: Is He Out of the Warriors?
Kendra Andrews of ESPN wrote that the Golden State Warriors could move him instead of extending him.
Andrews wrote:
“But Thompson’s slump to start this season feels different.”
“His contract negotiations are weighing on him, sources told ESPN, and he appears to be noticeably more frustrated during games. He sometimes sits on the end of the bench by himself during timeouts, or slaps his head after taking a bad shot. At the end of the first half of Friday’s win over against the San Antonio Spurs, Thompson threw his towel in frustration after picking up his second personal foul and then exited the court to the locker room before the half finished.”
Klay Thompson must improve his shooting to make the Warriors serious title contenders for the 2023 Western Conference.
