NBA 2019-20 season has been very harsh in terms of player injuries and some of the biggest stars such as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, DeMarcus Cousins and more have been on the injured list. It has deeply impacted team performance which is Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets are at the bottom of the points table and won’t even make it to the playoffs.
But things could change soon as the latest NBA injury reports and updates are saying that the superstars like Curry, Irving, and Durant could return to the court before the 2019-20 season ends and here are their injury and return timelines.
Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry getting injured at the start of this NBA season has made the Warriors drop down to the No. 15 seed just after making it to the finals last year. The Warriors are hands down the worst team in NBA 2019-20 season with half of their players gone and other half injured.

But that doesn’t mean Curry will keep sitting on the sidelines forever, he has shown speedy recovery and is also participating in team drills. Stephen Curry could return in March 2020 to play for the Warriors but it might be too late to save the sinking ship of playoffs.
Kyrie Irving
Kyrie Irving has only played 20 games for the Brooklyn Nets this season as earlier he was suffering from a shoulder injury and now his return timeline is delayed due to a knee injury. The Nets star is playing with an average of 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.4 per game but the team is playing badly with an 8-12 record in his presence.
As expected, Kyrie Irving has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game with a knee injury. If he returns for the Nets’ first game after the All-Star break, he would’ve had 19 days — nearly three weeks — off since he initially injured his knee at Washington.

Irving can return to the court after the NBA All-Star break and there might be some hope for Brooklyn Nets as they are at the No. 7 seed in the NBA Eastern Conference table.
Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant was the biggest star in the last free agency who went from the Warriors to the Nets and it changed everything. While the Dubs Side lost all their big names, Brooklyn knew that Durant won’t be able to play for even a year but they took the risk.
Kevin Durant could come back this season and it wouldn’t even be rushing it. A normal recovery timetable would have him coming back in early March. I think it will largely depend on the Nets and the momentum they create over the next month. He looks great.pic.twitter.com/EbRuT8SGBe

Kevin is now able to walk easily and was also recently seen practicing, but to risk him in the court will be a bad decision. Brooklyn Nets might wait for the next NBA season so that Kevin Durant gets fully healed up and will only let him play this season if the superstar himself says so.
