Draymond Green will be returning to the Golden State Warriors after serving the 5-match suspension from the NBA. Could the Warriors trade Draymond Green due to his declining scores, bad behavior, and increasing age?
Draymond Green Trade Deal: Could the Golden State Warriors Move the Power Forward?
Draymond Green is a controversial Golden State Warriors star, who has been involved in many controversies in the past. Whether it be technical fouls, ejections, or suspension, Draymond Green is always there on the list.
Recently, the 4 time NBA star was involved in a chokehold against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Draymond chokehold the Timberwolves’ star Rudy Gobert, due to which he was serving 5 five-game suspension.

The recent suspension has sparked questions about his potential trade deal. The 34-year-old GSW star headlocked the Timberwolves’ Rudy Gobert and dragged him almost half-court, resulting in his suspension for 5 games.
Draymond Green will be back against the Sacramento Kings, which is a crucial match. The GS Warriors are looking to get into the knockout rounds, and with Green on the court, it would not be very difficult.
While Draymond Green has helped the Golden State Warriors in winning titles, he has been consistently informal on the court. An NBA Insider, Mark Medina, believes that a Draymond Green trade deal could be on the cards anytime soon.
Medina said:
“I’m not someone that when Draymond has all these tirades that say, ‘why did the Warriors keep investing in him?’. The reality is it’s professional sports, and he’s helped them win championships, but it’s gotten well past the point that Draymond has to just simply be better…It’s not that hard when we’re talking about don’t punch a teammate in the face in practice, and don’t put an opponent in a chokehold…
In the etiquette of breaking up fights, you don’t grab an opponent, you grab your teammate, and Gobert was grabbing Klay, and we saw his jersey was ripped. But that doesn’t mean Draymond needs to put him in a chokehold and drag him almost halfway across the court for several seconds. So I would have given him a pass if it was a split second to just shove him away, but clearly, he did that with a lot more energy.”
Could the Golden State Warriors Trade Off Draymond Green This Season?
Green has a history of serving suspensions throughout his career. The Golden State Warriors star has been ejected about 18 times off the court. He has 22 personal fouls, 2 ejections, 3 technical fouls, and a 5-game suspension in the 2023-24 NBA Season.
The Golden State Warriors could consider moving him if he doesn’t change his behavior and doesn’t change it. It won’t come as a surprise for the fans if the Warriors move him this season.
