An NBA Insider, Shams Charania, shared the inside NBA news that James Harden didn’t join the practice session on the 19th of October. Harden has not played any pre-season games and didn’t appear on the media day as well. He only played 5-on-5 with the Philadelphia Sixers.
While Harden has stated the practice session absence as a “personal matter,” the Insider news suggests the opposite. As per the news, Harden didn’t join the practice camp since he wants to get traded and does not want to play for the Sixers anymore.
James requested his trade to the Los Angeles Clippers, but till now, there has been no update on his trade situation.

The Sixers and Clippers have discussed the Harden trade multiple times since his trade request in June, but there is no development. The Sixers want to acquire Terance Mann in the Harden trade from the Clippers.
On the other hand, the Clippers don’t want to move their guard as of now.

Harden averaged around 21 points, 10.7 assists, and 6.1 rebounds while scoring around 44.1% of the shots from the field, 38.5% of the shots from beyond the arc, and 86.7% of the shots from the free throw line.
James Harden led the NBA league with the highest assists for the second time in his career in the last season, which still makes him a worthy player to trade for.
