The Portland Trail Blazers’ Jerami Grant trade to the Atlanta Hawks is on the cards at the moment and is likely to go through very soon. When the Trail Blazers acquired Jerami Grant and handed him a hefty contract, they had not imagined that Damian Lillard would ask for a move-out. But he did, and he did it in fashion. He wanted to force his way out to the Miami Heat, but he ended up in the Milwaukee Bucks’ roster, who are sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference.
But the Trail Blazers are struggling; they were involved in multiple trades after that, and now, to start their rebuilding phase in full flow, they are set to release Jerami Grant as well. The 29-year-old forward Jerami has played 25 games this season while averaging 22 points per game. He has also managed to chart 2.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game while shooting 41.3 percent from beyond the arc. There are many teams that would like to add him to their squad. Should the Hawks give it a go? Here is all the information you need about the Atlanta Hawks trade for Jerami Grant of the Portland Trail Blazers.
What would the Atlanta Hawks offer for Jerami Grant?
The Atlanta Hawks are likely to offer Clint Capela and AJ Griffin in exchange for the Portland Trail Blazers #9. Rebuilding teams tend to ask for a draft pick in exchange as well. Will the Hawks match the offer in case the Blazers raise their demands?

Why would the Portland Trail Blazers trade-off Jerami Grant?
The Trail Blazers are set to rebuild after the departure of Damian Lillard. They are going to rely on their young core and they would fancy flipping Jerami for some assets, which helps them get rid of an expensive contract as well.
As we get closer to trade season and every publication puts Jerami Grant as the photo for their trade primer article – I continue to hear the Portland has zero interest in moving him.
They’re very happy with him, his role and his production w/this young team.
