Clippers’ Kawhi, Paul George, and Westbrook Push for Harden’s Big Move from Sixers
Harden has his friends in the Los Angeles Clippers. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George wanted the Clippers to acquire Harden from the Sixers, as reported by the NBA Insider Vincent Goodwill (Yahoo Sports).
Since Harden requested his trade from the Clippers in June, the former MVP has spoken to Paul and Kawhi for his trade to Clippers.
Harden’s close friend and the Clippers’ guard, Russell Westbrook is also in talks with the organization to acquire the beard star. Westbrook and Harden was friends while playing for the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Harden requested his trade in June, and since then the Sixers’ have been hunting for the best offer. The former MVP picked up the $35.6 million player option while requesting his trade.
