The Los Angeles Clippers are eyeing Malcolm Brogdon of the Portland Trail Blazers. Brogdon was traded to the Blazers from the Boston Celtics in the Jrue Holiday trade deal. Could the Clippers acquire Blazers’ guard Brogdon in a trade?
Clippers Back Out of Brogdon Trade Due to Injury Concerns
Malcolm Brogdon’s trade is one of the most anticipated trades of this year. He was almost traded to the Los Angeles Clippers this offseason, but after his medical result, the Clippers decided not to trade for the Blazers’ guard.
Malcolm has a partial tear in the tendon, which came out of his right elbow. This injury led the superstar to not play the last season. Due to this reason, the Clippers didn’t show confidence in acquiring the star guard. They were hesitant about whether or not Brogdon would be available to play for the season.

But since he is healthy, the Clippers could show interest in him. The Clippers are currently in the rebuild mode after not being able to acquire Damian Lillard. Adding Brogdon could help the Clippers to further strengthen their roster.
