Jerami Grant trade rumors are heating up again. Now, an NBA writer has proposed a trade deal in which the Heat will trade for Grant by exchanging Duncan Robinson alongside some other players and a second-round pick. Here is the potential trade idea!
The Jerami Grant Trade Proposal
- The Miami Heat will receive Jerami Grant.
- The Portland Trail Blazers will receive Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin, Nikola Jovic, and a 2026 Second Round Draft Pick (via the Los Angeles Lakers).
Jerami will be available to trade after the trade deadline, which is on January 15 and will be available to trade after February 2024, as reported by an NBA Insider, Michale Scotto of HoopsHype.
Grant signed a contract with the Portland Trail Blazers worth $160 million for a total of 5 years this offseason.

Miami Heat Eyeing Jerami Grant to Boost Roster?
Jerami Grant is just 29 years old right now, and he has averaged around 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in the NBA 2022-3 Season. The veteran scored around 40.1% of the shots from the 3-point line and 81.3% of the shots from the free-throw line.
Grant has a career average of 12.3 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while playing for different NBA teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, Blazers, and Detroit Pistons.
If the Miami Heat successfully acquired Grant from the Blazers, they could have a successful start with players like Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, Bam Adebayo, and Grant on their roster.
The Heat lost to the Nuggets in the last NBA Finals (5 games), so it would be interesting to see how they perform in the upcoming season, especially after acquiring Jerami Grant.
The Heat recently tried to acquire Jrue Holiday in the Damian Lillard trade. However, they were unsuccessful. But if they acquire Grant, he could be an ideal fit for the roster.
Even though he is comparable to Holiday or Lillard, he is one of the best young rebounders in the league.
