Space Jam 2 will have an all-star cast. Lebron James’ teammate Anthony Davis is already on board along with Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, and Klay Thompson.

They will have key roles in the sequel. Other members of the cast include Diana Taurasi and the Ogwumike sisters Chiney and Nneka. The list doesn’t end there as several other WNBA and NBA players are expected to join the cast. This report released after a month the NBA insider Brian Windhorst revealed that it is not getting any easier for James to recruit players.
Nike has a primary role in Space Jam and as per sources, shoe deals could be a reason for holding the stars back. Still, Lillard has signed a contract with Thompson and Anta and wear Adidas. The NBA stars and director Ryan Coogler are all set to produce Space Jam sequel.
The shooting of Space Jam 2 will begin this summer and is said to hit the big screen on 16 July 2021.
