Kyrie Irving off to the Brooklyn Nets
Kyrie Irving is reportedly interested in signing for the Brooklyn Nets. The matters have escalated it seems, as the 27-year-old hasn’t communicated with the Celtics for weeks, and has gone on radio silence, as per the Boston Globe.
Adam Himmelsbach reports that Irving has essentially ghosted on his team. There has been little to no communication between the two parties for weeks.
Celtics replacements- Nikola Vucevic and Max Strus
The Boston Celtics are looking to move quickly to replace these two key players on their roster. The rumors are that the Celtics are eyeing Nikola Vucevic as a replacement. It is also being reported that the Celtics have adjusted their roster, making Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Marcus Smart, and Jayson Tatum a part of their new main core.
Nikola Vucevic’s addition will help the team on both ends- the 28-year-old currently averages 20 points, 3 assists and 12 rebounds per game. He is perhaps one of the key reasons why the Orlando Magic managed to appear in this season’s playoffs.

Finally, the latest reports suggest that the Celtics have signed Max Straus on a two-year contract. Straus’s average during his two years with DePaul was 18 points and five rebounds per game.
However, with Baynes and Al Horford both looking to exit, who will be the next main man for the Celtics is unclear.
