NBA free agency has its own set of rules and regulations, as there are many deals yet to happen. Some of the secondary free agents are waiting for the top stars to sign a deal so that they can also pick up a team. Most of the NBA free agents are waiting for a Kawhi Leonard trade deal to happen. Two of such names who have yet not disclosed their cards are DeMarcus Cousins and Danny Green.

One should not forget that the two names belong to the two finalist teams of 2019 NBA and had an important contribution. Here are the possible trade deal options for Cousins and Green, along with their future NBA teams.
Deal Options for DeMarcus Cousins
DeMarcus Cousins had been kind of an unlucky player, who despite a great performance was stuck in a bad deal. After suffering from an injury last year, Cousins had to settle for a $5.3 million deal with the Golden State Warriors. But he proved his worth by playing an excellent game for the Warriors and taking them to the finals. But then again, Cousins suffered from a quadriceps injury at the start and was only able to return in the final matches.

The Warriors are ready to re-sign Cousins but won’t offer him any higher money. The New York Knicks could sign him as a consolation for Kevin Durant, but that also looks bleak. Lakers and Clippers will only resort to DeMarcus Cousins if they can’t get Kawhi Leonard in their team. The best possible option for Cousins is to get back to Warriors and hope for a better deal next year.
Danny Green has a lot of Takers
Danny Green from Toronto Raptors was also one of the reasons why the team won their first NBA finals. But the thing is, Green is aware of the fact that he can’t do much alone without the support of Kawhi Leonard. It is the main reason why Green is waiting for a Leonard deal so that he can also go to the same team.
No matter what happens with Kawhi, I hope Raptors fans really appreciate what Danny Green is doing. He could have easily signed on the opening night of FA – and for really nice money — but has opted to wait so far to KL because he wants to run it back.

If Kawhi Leonard re-signs with the Raptors, Dany Green would also stay, so that they can together play to win the next NBA finals. The Lakers have a pretty solid chance to land Leonard, and also pay good money to Green. As of right now, the Lakers have $32 million to spend from their cap space, which is enough for a Leonard-Green deal.
