The Los Angeles Clippers’ Norman Powell is rumored to play for the Golden State Warriors next season. The deal is being thought over by both teams after the Warriors signed Chris Paul. Some players of the Warriors and Chris are not on good terms. Paul had had his issues with the Warriors as a Rocket and a Clipper.
Draymond Green and Paul would have to bury the past and get used to seeing each other. But there are ways to avoid all this. The Warriors can send Paul away and get somebody else in return for him. The 38-year-old might be traded to the Clippers, and the Warriors may acquire Norman Powell. Here is all the information you need to know about the trade between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors involving Norman.
What would the Warriors offer for Norman Powell?
The Warriors are expected to offer Chris Paul and a second-round pick each from the years 2025 and 2026 in exchange for Norman Powell and Robert Covington. Paul’s move to the Warriors was not anticipated by anybody, and the player himself was not looking forward to it. He would have been happier with the Suns. Both the Suns and the Warriors have similar squad strength and are contenders for the title. The Suns probably preferred to have more salary space than keeping a veteran.

Why would the Clippers trade-off Norman Powell?
Russell Westbrook is the Clippers’ current point guard, James Harden is their target, but if they fail to land him, Paul would be a good option, his decision making n floor spacing qualities would improve the Clippers’ roster for sure.
Clippers guard Norman Powell is a name worth monitoring on the trade front for the Milwaukee Bucks, per @JWeinbachNBA.

Why would the Warriors like to sign Norman Powell?
Paul is a good option for the Warriors as well, and they signed him for that reason only. He would change the dynamics of the Warriors’ offense. His issues with Green and the on-field difficulties he might face while playing alongside Steve Kerr can be resolved. But if things do not work, the Warriors can choose to sign Powell, who is a brilliant shot-creator. They get Robert too who is a versatile defensive wing.
Will the Warriors give up on Paul even before seeing his on-field magic? We’ll keep you updated.
