LeBron James’ Headbutt Scare Raises Concerns for Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers got worried when their superstar player, LeBron James, got headbutted by the Cavaliers’ forward Evan Mobley, accidentally. Mobley was chasing James on the court when he accidentally hit James’ face.
While James didn’t leave the court and continued his game, he was bleeding from him throughout the game. He looked in pain, and later, he had to stop the game eventually.

However, it was fortunate that the injury was not serious, and he was still able to play the game.
Bron is still one of the best players in the league, and the best on the Lakers’ roster in this season. If he doesn’t get healthy soon, the Lakers would be in some serious trouble.
The Lakers are off to a good start this season, as they are currently 9-7 in the game. The Akron Hammer is averaging around 25.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in the 2023-24 NBA Season.
While this injury was not serious, could this be an indication of Bron’s impending retirement?

Will Anthony Davis Step Up to Support LeBron James?
LeBron James is currently playing his 21st season in the NBA. Even though he has peaked and is close to his retirement, he is still playing and breaking records.
At the age of 38, James is still able to dominate on the court. However, some people believe that at this age, as the season progresses, LeBron’s performance will eventually decline due to fatigue.
To be able to play like a young player, James will need the support of his teammates on the roster, especially Anthony-Davis, so that he doesn’t feel fatigued and maintain his performance.
While LeBron is maintaining his performance as of now, Davis is looking inconsistent, especially on the offensive end. Currently, he is only averaging around 21.5 points, 2.9 blocks, and 12.1 rebounds per game.
