There is a group of NBA fans who believe Ray Allen saved LeBron James’ legacy by hitting a crucial 3-pointer in the 2013 Finals. Even though Ray Allen doesn’t agree there is a strong belief among fans about this theory. Allen’s three-pointer in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals helped the Miami Heat to win that match and thereafter it became quite famous among the NBA fans.
Spurs had a lead of two digits in the third round, and Miami was looking almost lost. James missed a couple of chances but Ray Allen came to backup and scored one of the most clutch 3- 3-pointer in NBA history. Later on, Miami was leading by 103-100 and won that match. That 3-pointer of Ray became quite famous among the fans and he is often labeled as the savior of LeBron James’ legacy.
Is Ray Allen not on LBJ’s list?
LeBron has a long career in the NBA and has played with some of the finest players. Players like Russell, Anthony, and Kyrie have played alongside King James.
On Twitter, a fan asked him about the list of best shooters that he has played with, and James named them.
Mike Miller. James Jones, Kyle Korver, Swish, Kyrie, Jesus Shuttlesworth, DJ19, C Frye, KLove

A lot of people were surprised by not seeing Ray Allen on that list. Ray saved the finals in 2013 by scoring a crucial 3-pointer, and his name was not on that list. That three-pointer is still believed to be the saviour of LBJ’s legacy. Miami Heat was very close to losing that match but the three-pointer by Ray became a turning point and resulted in Miami winning it. In the same match, James missed a couple of chances and didn’t play as well as expected. Ray came in as the savior. Otherwise, James must have faced some backlash from the Miami fans. Ray’s name not on the LBJ list was very surprising.
