Joel Embiid is one of the best players and big men in the league. Chris Broussard, an NBA Insider, has reported that the Sixers’ star wants to leave the franchise and join the New York Knicks.
While there is no confirmed news that the big man is considering his trade options, his trade request was anticipated much before, after the James Harden trade rumors.
Nothing is going well with the Sixers as Harden didn’t join the training camp on 17th October, and now Embiid is expected to request a trade to the Knicks.

The New York Knicks’ current president is Leon Rose, who also was the agent of Embiid. There are rumors that Rose could help Embiid get into the Knicks.

The Sixers’ big man has signed a $210 million extension contract with the Sixers for 4 years in 2021. The Knicks are monitoring Embiid’s situation with the Sixers as Harden has requested a trade, as reported by NBA Insider Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports.
Embiid is one of the best big men in the league. He also won the MVP award last season. The Sixers’ big star averaged around 33.1 points and 10.2 rebounds in the last season for the franchise.

Embiid scored around 54.8% of the shots from the floor, 85.7% of the shots from the free throw line, and 33% of the shots from the 3-point line. The Sixers haven’t had any success with Embiid on their roster since they haven’t gotten past the second round after 2014-15.
Embiid has a career average of 27.2 points, 3.4 assists, and 11.2 rebounds, alongside 1.7 blocks per game.
