Danilo Gallinari has been constantly changing teams in NBA and it seems he will be once again moved before the trade deadline. Galo has been moved to the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers and finally to Oklahoma City Thunder last year for Paul George. However, things are different in 2020 and Gallinari has turned out to be a valuable asset who is in demand from several teams.
In this season, Danilo has been averaging 18 points and 5.8 rebounds on 39% shooting from beyond the arc and teams such as Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors are really interested in him. Galo is in the final year of his contract at $22.6 million and Boston, Phoenix and Toronto will have to match the salary.
Boston Celtics
Boston Celtics are doing surprisingly very well in the NBA East and it won’t be a surprise if they end up in the conference finals against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics would need an efficient big man who can score and Danilo Gallinari could prove to be very useful at that point. Boston is actively pursuing a lot of players and Gallinari is someone whose salary will be easier to match as the Oklahoma City Thunder are on rebuilding mode.
Phoenix Suns
Phoenix Suns after a great start in NBA 2019-20 season failed badly and despite the amazing performance of Devin Booker, they are losing games. DeAndre Ayton despite being the No. 1 pick is not making an impact and the Suns needs to trade for an experienced player like Danilo Gallinari if they want to reach the playoffs. The Suns are rich in assets and could easily make the deal with OKC before February 6 trade deadline.

Toronto Raptors
Toronto Raptors despite losing Kawhi Leonard are doing great in the current NBA season and have surprised everyone. While Danilo Gallinari is no Leonard or George Paul, basketball is a team game and the Raptors needs someone who can contribute to the whole squad. The Raptors have the required trade pieces to make the deal with Oklahoma City Thunder possible and Gallinari will be an amazing addition in Toronto.
