New Orleans Pelicans made the biggest move at the start of this year when they traded out Anthony Davis to the Lakers. Now, according to the latest rumours, Bradley Beal could soon be joining the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Pelicans got Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and the No. 1 pick from the Lakers in exchange for Davis. It was the time everyone thought that the Pelicans would go on a full-scale rebuild and they even got Zion Williamson in the NBA 2019 draft lottery.
But the decision to keep Jrue Holiday, JJ Redick and Derrick Favors are putting doubt to their plans. New Orleans needs a star player who can lead the team and replace Anthony Davis for them. It is when Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards comes into the picture and an exchange deal can be made for him by the Pelicans.
Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and Draft Picks in Exchange
Bradley Beal has a lot of buyers in the form of various NBA teams but there is a catch. He won’t come cheap as the Wizards are already ready to offer him a three-year contract extension at $111 million. Hence any team that intends to sign Beal has to offer an amount higher than that which is hardly possible for most of the NBA teams.

However, New Orleans Pelicans would be the perfect trade partner for Wizards as they are already loaded with assets. They have a lot of young talented players and future draft picks which they acquired in the Anthony Davis trade deal. The Pelicans could exchange Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, E’Twaun Moore, a 2020 first-round pick, and a 2021 first-round pick to the Wizards for Bradley Beal.
Best Deal for Washington Wizards
Pelicans and Wizards exchange deal for Bradley Beal is a win-win scenario for both the teams. Beal can give the Pelicans the push required to stay relevant in the already loaded NBA Western Conference. Even the Wizards won’t get a better offer than this as no other NBA team would give so much for a single player.
Quote from my source “#Miami DEFINITELY isn’t out of the conversation for Bradley Beal this season.” 👀

Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball could be the future superstars of NBA and the draft picks could help them rebuild the team. The Wizards could even trade John Wall to Miami Heat and can make further improvements to their roster.
