NBA free agency 2019 was over a month ago and most of the basketball players have been traded. There are a few stars who were unlucky to find a new team and Carmelo Anthony is one of them. Last season, Melo joined the Houston Rockets and proved that he has still the ability to put the ball in the basket. But the Rockets had a bad season and instead of blaming James Harden or Chris Paul, Anthony was moved out of the team.
It took him some time and Melo recently revealed that he wants to play basketball. There might be a few NBA teams who still need Melo and would be interested in a deal. Here are the potential deals of Carmelo Anthony with LA Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and Golden State Warriors.
Los Angeles Lakers
LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony have played together in the NBA All-Star and Olympic games. The duo worked solidly and they could repeat the same for the Lakers team. The Lakers are already looking for a veteran player and Melo cab be paired up with Anthony Davis too. The best part is that the Lakers can get Anthony for just around $2.4 million and hence a deal can be on its way.
Carmelo Anthony’s camp has been in touch with the Lakers throughout the entire offseason. Although a deal is unlikely to be made, if the market completely dries out for the Lakers, expect Carmelo to join the team.

Philadelphia 76ers
Philadelphia 76ers needs some experienced players as Jimmy Butler and JJ Redick have left the team. Carmelo Anthony can be a perfect fit and he can also be paired up with Ben Simmons. The 76ers have a great defense squad but they kind of lack in offense and Melo can solve the problem easily. If we add Anthony to the name such as Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and Tobias Harris, the Phillies can become a contender team.
I’m loving this episode of #FirstTake. Carmelo Anthony is telling his side of the story and I believe him 100%. “It’s deeper than basketball.” No ifs, ands, or buts. He did everything the media claims he refuses to do. In fact, the media is to blame for all the stigma. 🤷🏾♂️

Golden State Warriors
Golden State Warriors badly needs Carmelo Anthony as Kevin Durant has left their roster. Along with him, names such as DeMarcus Cousins, DeAndre Jordan, and Andre Iguodala have also changed teams. With Klay Thompson injured, there is no one else to support Stephen Curry besides Draymond Green. The Warriors could use Anthony if they want to become the top team in the Western Conference once again.
Carmelo Anthony needs to be on an NBA roster…There’s no good reason why he can’t be a productive 6th man like @DwyaneWade was for @MiamiHEAT last season💯
