The Chicago Bulls’ guard Alex Caruso is on the radar of the Sacramento Kings. Even though the central part of the court is important, the game of basketball is played on the extreme ends. A balance of good defense and good attack is needed for a team to perform well.
The Kings have always tried to maintain the balance and have succeeded up to an extent. An extra layer is generally put on the offensive part to boost the scoring on the defenders’ off day. The Kings are excellent at attack and did a wonderful job in the regular season. But they struggled with their defense in the playoffs. Can they sign Bulls’ Alex to fix that? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Chicago Bulls and the Sacramento Kings involving Alex Caruso.
What would the Kings offer for Alex Caruso?
The Kings can trade off Davion Mitchell, Chris Duarte, and a 2026 first-round pick in exchange for Alex Caruso. This signing does not justify the traditional build of a good defense. They have Domantas Sabonis, who is a great defender but can not do the job of a rim protector. But modern basketball works well with changed structures, and now teams use a star defender at the rim and cover the interior’s shortcomings. Alex is needed for the same. Can he do that?

Why would the Kings like to sign Alex Caruso?
Alex is a versatile defender, he can be the Kings’ point of attack, and he is equally good at guarding. The Kings know the talent Alex possesses, and they are offering a good value for the exchange. Would this signing avoid another first-round exit?

Why would the Bulls let Alex Caruso go?
The Bulls probably know that they are not good enough for contending for the title this season. Bulls can choose to rebuild and that would mean getting assets for the future. This deal does exactly that for them. They would get Mitchell and Duarte, both of them are brilliant players. They are two good players plus a swap draft pick for an elite. Would they do it?
The deal depends on the Bulls’ decision to rebuild, but on the other hand, the current valuation can be considered good as well. Will the deal go through? We’ll keep you updated.
