Chris Paul was traded out from the Houston Rockets and they got Russel Westbrook in exchange from the Oklahoma City Thunder. While Westbrook and James Harden are said to be the next big duo for the Rockets, Paul is kind of an odd fit in the Thunder team. The plan was to use Paul as an asset and move him out as soon as they get a better deal.
But nothing of that sort happened as no NBA teams are interested in Chris Paul anymore. It leads to the speculation that Oklahoma City might play along with Chris in the next NBA season and then trade him out. It looks like Paul will be a permanent member of the Thunder team as he has put his previous mansion in Houston for sale.
Houston Mansion on Sale
Chris Paul putting his Houston mansion on sale is an indication that there is no going back to the place. Paul will now be a permanent resident of Oklahoma City and might buy a new house there. Paul bought the five-bedroom and 6.5-bathroom mansion in April 2018 when he though Rockets will be his home for the next few years.

Unfortunately, he was traded in exchange for Westbrook and the Texas house is no use to him anymore. As per the realtors, Paul has listed his 10,000 square feet mansion in the market for sale at $8.3 million. There are also rumors which suggest that Paul is also looking for properties in Oklahoma for the next few years.
NBA 2019-20 Season with Thunder
Oklahoma City Thunder has no option left and they have now decided to keep him for the NBA 2019-20 season. There are few teams like Miami Heat who are interested in Paul but the Thunder team are asking for too much money.

It is kind of a risk for both Paul and the Oklahoma City team as things can go both ways. If Paul performs in the next season, he would garner a lot of buyers and the Thunder team can trade him at a high price. On the other hand, the opposite can also happen where the team is stuck with Chris Paul.
