The Warriors want to acquire Mitchell Robinson for his excellent skillset and capabilities to be a big man. He is better than Looney and could fit the Warriors’ roster well.
He is one of the best defensive big man in the league and also an elite rim protector. Furthermore, he has the ability to space the floor vertically as well.
Could the Knicks Trade Their Big Man, Robinson, to the Warriors?
Robinson is unhappy with his role in the New York Knicks. He wants a bigger role as he is dissatisfied with his current role in the team. However, the Knicks have not agreed to offer him a bigger role.
In this deal, the Knicks would acquire two quality players. They will get Looney, who could be a perfect replacement for Mitchell on their roster. The Knicks could place Isaiah Hartenstein at NO 5, who could be a perfect fit position.

On top of that, the Knicks will receive Gary Payton III, who they can utilize to defend multiple positions at once. Lastly, they will receive the first-round pick, which makes it a steal deal for the Knicks.
