The Rockets landed Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks after the arrival of the former Celtics coach, Ime Udoka. Vanderbilt would be another great addition to the defensive side the Rockets are trying to build. The other two players are also defensive, and that, along with the two draft picks, is what inspires the Rockets to do this deal.
