There are a lot of star players being traded currently, and one of them is James Harden, who wants to join Los Angeles Clippers. Joel has an ongoing contract of $210 million, which he signed in 2021. The extension contract is ending, and he wants to be traded to the Clippers.
Joel Embiid Career and Stats
When it comes to Joel Embiid’s stats, he has been performing impressively in most games. He has played a total of 394 regular NBA season games, where he has averaged around 27.2 points along with 11.2 rebounds.
Joel has been named to the All-Star team six times, the All-NBA team five times, and the All-Defensive team three times, as well as winning the MVP Award once. However, it is worth noting that despite Embiid’s impressive performances, the 76ers have never made it to the playoffs.
While the 76ers are likely to trade Joel, he doesn’t want to be traded to other teams like Harden. He wants to stay in the Philadelphia Sixers, as he wants to spend his whole career with one team, similar to Kobe Bryant from the LA Lakers.
