Oklahoma City Thunder lost two of its biggest player in the NBA free agency deals. When Kawhi Leonard asked Paul George to join him in the Clippers he requested a trade and moved out. Russel Westbrook also did the same and joined his former teammate James Harden in Houston Rockets. While the Thunder got Chris Paul and other assets in return, they are not enough.
OKC Thunder are in for a major rebuild and their roster will be upgraded before 2020 trade deadline. Devin Booker is one of the best shooting guards and there are reports that Phoenix Suns are planning to trade him out. The Thunder team won’t waste any time and sign Booker to replace George and Westbrook for the next NBA season.
Booker can be the Star Player for Thunder
Devin Booker is just 22 years old and already breaking many records in NBA which most of the player can’t even get close. He has scored 60 points in a single game and managed to score more than 50 points in two continuous games. In the last season with Phoenix Suns, Devin had an average of 26.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.8 assists.
I hope Devin Booker is watching this OT game before his intense workout with some 5’9 trainer who just keeps feeding him uncontested threes. Cuz that’s a better way to prepare for the season.

As someone who covered the Suns for a season and was around Devin Booker every day I don't understand the constant criticism directed his way. He has gotten better each year, shouldered the burden of playing on horrific teams and done so without complaint. What's not to like?

While also shooting 46.7 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from three-point range. Booker is a future All-Star caliber player and the OKC Thunder can give him the perfect opportunity. The Thunder needs someone like Booker who can take their offense to the next level and become the star player for the team.
Replacement for Paul George and Russel Westbrook
Thunder manager Sam Presti knows how important Booker can be in the team and will do whatever it takes to convince Phoenix Suns for a deal. OKC has a huge bank of future first-round picks which they can give to the Suns in exchange for Devin Booker.
Paul George and Russel Westbrook were the souls for the team and now they have gone. Booker can replace the duo and add to already solid core of Chris Paul, Gilgeous-Alexander, Gallinari, and Adams. Thunder team can turn into a solid contender in the Western conference if they sign Booker before the other NBA teams.
