Jonathan Isaac and Orlando Magic might part ways very soon. Isaac is too good when he is on the court, and if at his best, he is a contender for the Defender of the Year. He is versatile and is equally brilliant at every position he plays.
But the issue is he has not played a lot; his injuries have kept him on the sidelines frequently for long durations. This is a very rare sight for the fans to see such a great player being injured at the beginning of their career. But if the situation persists, other teams might show reluctance as well. The Washington Wizards are interested, and here is all the information you need about the trade!
What would the Wizards offer for Jonathan Isaac?
The Magics would receive Wizard’s guard Tyus Jones and forward Danilo Gallinari in exchange for their forward Jonathan Isaac and their 2025 first-round pick. Signing Isaac is a huge bet considering his injuries and his history of political statements, which might not be very extreme but are still controversial enough.
Isaac’s game is so nice that other factors might get neglected, but the Magics might have had enough of him.

Why would the Magics send off Jonathan Isaac?
It looks like the Magics are done with Isaac. They have decent players for all other positions, and all they needed was a ball-handling floor-spacing guard. Jonathan is the perfect fit for the Magics. They would not care about their 2025 first-round pick as they already have enough young blood on their roster.
Potential Orlando Magic bench unit:
PG: 6’7 Anthony Black
SG: 6’4 Gary Harris
SF: 6’8 Jett Howard
PF: 6’8 Joe Ingles
C: 6’11 Jonathan IsaacThe best way to begin Anthony Black’s career is by working him in slowly off the bench & surrounding him with good shooters & defenders.🔥 pic.twitter.com/CbfJqmPjy3

Why would the Wizards like to sign Jonathan Isaac?
The Magic will bid farewell to Tyus Jones in this deal, and they would love to do that, considering he is not in their plans as well. Sending him off is a big enough reason for this deal to happen, and in exchange, they are getting Isaac. Honestly, they could not have asked for anything better.
The deal is not about who’s getting a good player but who’s getting rid of the more significant issue. Both of the Wizards and the Magics would like to get their fodder out. We’ll keep you updated.
