Why would the Celtics like to sign James Harden?
Harden might be the missing piece in the puzzle that leads the Celtics to a title. They need a ball handler and a playmaker. Harden’s defending skills might not be that great but that can be overlooked over the experience he brings on the table. The Celtics have Kristaps as a replacement for Horford, and Harden himself would take the place of White. Is this what makes the Celtics better?

Why would the Sixers let James Harden go?
Actually, they do not have a choice. Harden wants out, and he will go out as he has nearly taken an oath of not putting on a Sixers jersey ever again. Nobody would give a hefty sum of assets for him, but they can settle for two quality players from the Celtics, would they?
