Rich Paul of the Klutch Sports is the agent of Zach LaVine, who is also the agent of Anthony Davis, and LeBron James. And due to the connections, LaVine wants to be traded to the Lakers.
Joe Cowley reported:
“The Bulls have been linked to the Lakers and Raptors in the rumor mill, but multiple sources said LaVine and his representation obviously want Los Angeles because of the Klutch Sports connection.”
Zach LaVine was on the trading block last year as well, but he could not be traded. LaVine wants to be the lead player of the Bulls‘, but he is sick of the internal debate going in within the Chicago Bulls.
Zach Lavine said:
“First off, the storylines that are out there right now about me is on both.”
“It’s something that wasn’t said completely verbally to the media. It’s something that is behind closed doors that a bunch of narratives can get spun around and said about me and stories will be portrayed. And that’s part of the business. I think that comes with it.”
While LaVine wants to be traded to the Los Angeles, the Lakers’ general manager Rob Pelinka has been patient to trade for him. The LA Lakers are currently doing well in the Western Conference as they sitting at 5th position with a record of 15-10.
Zach LaVine is averaging around 21 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game while shooting around 44.3% of the shots from the field, 33.6% from beyond the arc.
