Why would the Knicks like to sign Joel Embiid?
The Knicks have a very talented roster, but they are still missing a franchise player. Nobody is better than last season’s best player to be the face of the team, and the Knicks are on a mission to make that happen.

Why would the Sixers trade-off Joel Embiid?
The Sixers do not want to part ways with their superstar since it would push them into the rebuilding phase. They are trying to convince James Harden or sign somebody to replace him so that they can keep Embiid.
