Orlando Magic needs a lot of help to stay on top of the NBA Eastern Conference and Nikula Vucevic won’t be enough for them. NBA 2019-20 season is going on and the Magic are currently at 6-7 record which means there is still a chance left for them. It is why Orlando is scouring the trade market and they have expressed a lot of interest in DeMar DeRozan from the San Antonio Spurs team.
Possible Trade – Magic acquire DeMar DeRozan.
ORL – DeMar DeRozan
SAS – Aaron Gordon, Mo BambaOrlando needs more scoring and I think they’re willing to move on from Gordon and Bamba to get it. San Antonio would save money and get younger players with upside.

The Orlando Magic are ‘scouring the trade market’ for scoring help and have expressed interest in trading for DeMar DeRozan, per @KevinOConnorNBA
“It would surprise none of the front-office executives I’ve spoken with if the Spurs did move DeRozan”

The trade deal could take place if Aaron Gordon and Mo Bamba are given to Spurs and in exchange, the Magic gets a combined package of DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl, and a future second-round pick. Here are the possibilities of Gordon and DeRozan’s exchange deal and how it would affect the Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs team.
Aaron Gordon and Mo Bamba for DeMar DeRozan
The Orlando Magic team would have one of the best wingers of this decade in the form of DeMar DeRozan who could easily take place of Mo Bamba. Poeltl is already a much better player than Bamba and he could easily take the Magic team to NBA 2019-20 playoffs.
Further, a future second-round pick almost seals the deal as the Spurs would have been giving an absolute package. It would be tough for Orlando Magic to give out both Aaron Gordon and Mo Bamba as their place in the NBA Eastern Conference could be in danger but it is a risk they should take if they want the next NBA title.
Win-Win Deal for Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs
San Antonio Spurs are having a tough time in the highly competitive NBA Western Conference and have so far a 5-9 record in the current season. The Spurs trading out DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poeltl for two young players can prove very useful in the long term.
Also, the Spurs would need players like Aaron Gordon and Mo Bamba who could fit perfectly in a young team of Dejounte Murray. Derrick White, Lonnie Walker, and Bryn Forbes. The exchange trade deal between the Spurs and Magic would be a win-win for both the teams as they improve their rosters and also contention chances.
