Miami Heat might soon add Carmelo Anthony to its roster if the recent rumors are to be believed. The team is trying it’s best to get to the same form once it was with LeBron James. Back in 2010, the NBA legend was part of the Miami team and they made to 3 consecutive NBA finals.
Jimmy Butler was bought in one of the biggest NBA free agency trade and the Heat team is trying hard to get other top players. There are other decent players in Miami Heat but they need some of the best ones to win the next NBA title.
Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony are two NBA stars who despite having an amazing record and enough experience are not getting any buyers. As per the recent reports, the Miami team is stepping up and wants to make a trade deal with Paul and Anthony. Here is how the trade deal can go and Miami Heat’s chances of winning NBA 2020 finals.
Talent and Experience
Carmelo Anthony has an NBA experience of around and has played for numerous teams such as Nuggets, Rockets, Thunder, and Knicks. Melo has played along with the likes of LeBron James and was considered better than him at one point. It is the same reason why James is trying so hard to get Carmelo in Lakers to play along with him. Carmelo Anthony has one of the best career averages of 24.0 points, 3.0 assists, and 6.5 rebounds.
Chris Paul was part of the Houston Rockets team who exchanged him with Russel Westbrook as a part of a trade deal. Oklahoma City Thunder now owns C3PO and doesn’t have much intention of using him in the court. Thunder team is looking for active buyers to trade-off Paul for some young players. Chris Paul has an amazing average of 18.5 points, 9.7 assists, and 4.5 rebounds.
Support for Jimmy Butler
Miami Heat was always looking at the bigger names once they acquired Jimmy Butler. DeMarcus Cousins and Russel Westbrook were also on the trade radar of the Heat management. The plan is to get the best names in the NBA and pair them up with a young and energetic Butler.

Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony have still got the potential to score and can beat any of their opposing teams. If Miami Heat is able to get Paul and Melo and devises a proper strategy, they have a shot at the NBA 2019-20 season title.
