The Charlotte Hornets’ Terry Rozier might get traded to the Los Angeles Lakers this summer. The Lakers made it to the Western Conference finals last season even after starting the season on a low. They are expected to contend at least until they have LeBron James on their roster, and they would like to do some trades to land quality players to get their hands on the NBA title.
Terry Rozier played 63 games for the Hornets last season and averaged 21.1 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game. The Lakers know that a shot creator is the need of the hour, and even though they would have loved to land Kyrie Irving, D’Angelo Russell was re-signed. But would they like to flip him for Terry? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Charlotte Hornets involving Terry Rozier.
What would the Lakers offer for Terry Rozier?
The Lakers can offer D’Angelo Russell and Taurean Prince in exchange for Terry Rozier. A team that came very close to the title introspected every mistake they made and looked for possible solutions. The Lakers are doing just that, and since they have LeBron, they are free to experiment. Will this one give them the desired results?

Why would the Hornets let Terry Rozier go?
The Hornets know where they stand in the league and they prefer to do business at the moment. Terry earns more while Russell and Prince do not, and since the deal is saving them money, the Hornets are up for doing it. Also, Rozier and Ball can’t flourish together. This deal gives them a backup point guard and a decent three and D wing.

Why would the Lakers like to sign Terry Rozier?
The Lakers on the other hand are doing this deal for quality, they know Terry is the best player involved in the team. They are looking for players who can win them championships by complementing LeBron. Terry is a great shot creator and can space the floor as well. He is very likely to sync well with LeBron.
The Lakers are built around LeBron, and once he leaves, there will be a huge void to be filled. Are they preparing for it already? Will the Hornets really part ways with their star for money? We’ll keep you updated.
