The Los Angeles Clippers’ guard and forward Paul George might get traded to the New York Knicks this summer. One can say that Injuries were the reason the Clippers failed to win the championship this season. Leonard did hurt his knee after the second game of the playoffs and George had a knee sprain while entering into the postseason.
The Clippers would be eyeing to sign players who are less injury prone. They would probably trade off George since Leonard is better and is expected to start for them. The Knicks have shown interest in signing the 33-year-old. Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Los Angeles Clippers and the New York Knicks involving Paul George.
Would the Knick offer for Paul George?
This trade deal would be more of a double swap in which the Clippers would receive Julius Randle and Evan Fournier while the Knicks would land Paul George and Amir Coffey. Both teams would be happy to do the trade since they would be getting the player they potentially need without spending their draft picks.
I think Jalen Brunson can be a 2nd or 3rd best player on a championship team.@nyknicks' missing piece is a Paul George or Kawhi Leonard type imo
if LAC struggles again & decides to hit reset before the trade deadline, the Knicks should go all in on PG13.

Why would the Knicks sign Paul George?
The Clippers have a better alternative for Paul, so they are trading him off while the Knicks would put him right into their starting squad. Paul might be the missing piece for the Knicks as his skills are exactly what the Knicks lack. Although they would pray that Paul stays fit, his injury issues might not be a huge problem for the Knicks since they have enough backup. Julius’ departure would have been a setback, but Paul is much more efficient, and Fournier is another quality player to have on the roster.
Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are a Top 5 Duo in the NBA, it’s sad to see people forget pic.twitter.com/1UE3uThL7f

Why would the Clippers trade-off Paul George?
The Clippers know how good of a player Paul is but they had enough of his injuries, and now they are trying to land a durable player. Both Julius Randle and Fournier would be a great addition to the roster. Julius would do great alongside Leonard and Fournier is a quality veteran with great shooting skills.
Will the Clippers succeed in getting rid of Paul and are the Knicks going to land a benchwarmer? We’ll keep you updated.
