The Philadelphia 76ers are likely to pursue Zach LaVine’s trade due to expiring contracts. The Sixers could emerge as the frontrunners for LaVine in a trade deal with the Chicago Bulls.
The Philadelphia 76ers are currently doing well in the Eastern Conference with a 10-5 record. Despite moving James Harden, the Sixers are looking great in the game.
The Sixers have plenty of cap space and multiple expiring contracts. Does this mean the Sixers could make a trade for an all-star player like Zach LaVine?
Zach LaVine Trade Rumors: Lakers, Heat Unlikely to Acquire Bulls Star
I asked Zach LaVine if he’s surprised the Chicago Bulls are 5-13, given their talent. “I think it’s just frustrating… It didn’t look and it didn’t feel like we would be at this point right now, but that’s our reality, so we’ve got to figure out a way to get out of that hole.” pic.twitter.com/8kf1RxUBaO

Zach LaVine is reportedly leaving the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are looking for potential trade options for LaVine.
Zach desires to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Miami Heat, or the Philadelphia 76ers. However, due to his large contract, it is difficult for other teams to trade for him.
LaVine signed a 5-year contract extension with the Bulls for a massive $215 in 2022 free agency. And he still has 4 years left in his contract, which will cost about $178 million to the Heat, Sixers, and Lakers if they trade for him.
Experts suggest that LaVine would be an ideal fit for the Lakers as their third player beside Anthony Davis and LeBron James. However, due to a lack of assets, the Lakers are not likely to pursue LaVine. The same goes with the Heat. They don’t have enough assets to trade for LaVine.
The Bulls have set a high asking price for LaVine since he is completely healthy as of now. They want to recover as much cost as possible in return for LaVine.
Could the Sixers Make a Move to Acquire Zach LaVine?
The Sixers are highly likely to acquire Zach LaVine in a trade deal as they have sufficient assets. LaVine is regarded as one of the best shooting guards in the league. If the Sixers acquire him, he will make the Sixers serious title contenders alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
