The NBA 2023-24 Season is ongoing, and there are several players on the trading block. Here are the top 5 NBA stars that could be on the move this season!
Top 5 NBA Players on the Trading Block
1. Zach LaVine
Zach LaVine is parting his way with the Chicago Bulls. LaVine has asked the Bulls to trade him to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Miami Heat, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Sacramento Kings, or the San Antonio Spurs. However, since the Bulls’ star guard has a no-trade clause in his contract, the Bulls can trade him to any team they want.
As per Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Lakers are most likely to pursue LaVine in a trade deal.
2. Pascal Siakam
Up next on the list is Pascal Siakam from the Toronto Raptors. The big man has been with the organization for the past 8 NBA seasons, which is a big time. However, his journey with the Raptors is probably now coming to an end.
Siakam wants to win a championship, while the Raptors are not looking in a position to be in the title race. This could result in Siakam’s separation from the Raptors.

3. Malcolm Brogdon
Another big name on the list is Malcolm Brogdon from the Portland Trail Blazers. Brogdon is just 30 years old and in good form as of now. However, the Blazers want to move him due to their young guards on the roster.
The Blazers have Anfernee Simons and Scoot Henderson, the two young guards, and if Brogdon remains on the roster, the Blazers won’t be able to allow time for these two potential stars.
4. DeMar DeRozan
If not Zach LaVine, the Bulls are surely going to trade off DeMar DeRozan from the roster. The veteran is in the final year of his contract with the Bulls and hasn’t agreed on an extension yet.
With a marginal drop in performance and the growing age of 34, the Bulls do not want to continue with DeRozan. Some trade suitors could trade for DeMar, including the Los Angeles Lakers, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the New York Knicks.
5. O.G. Anunoby
The Toronto Raptors are performing inconsistently in the Eastern Conference. This could result in OG Anunoby’s trade this NBA season.
While Anunoby is performing well, averaging around 15.8 points while shooting around 49.7% of the shots from the field. The 3-and-D is likely to be traded by the Raptors due to a lack of assets.
The Raptors won’t be able to offer him a salary hike, which may result in his trade. The Raptors could also acquire some quality young players alongside some valuable assets in exchange for Anunoby in a trade deal.
