Stephen Curry is having a great season once again, but at the same time, a few bad games are a part of everyone’s journey, no matter how much they try to avoid it. One such game was against the Denver Nuggets, where Stephen Curry failed miserably in the last quarter.
Golden State Warriors collapsed in the fourth quarter
The Warriors were in the lead after the third quarter. Instead of having a lead of 13 points, the Warriors failed to maintain it in the fourth quarter. A turnover from Stephen Curry during the final minutes of the game cost the Warriors heavily as they ended up losing.
Stephen Curry’s blunder in the last minutes
The Golden State Warriors were leading by 18 points with 7 minutes remaining, and it was looking like their easy win. But then Stephen Curry’s turnover and later on, Nikola Jokic’s superb shot from 40 feet made the Nuggets the winner. This blunder from Stephen was very rare to see, and it once again gave chance to his haters to troll him for his clutch failures.
“We were trying to like milk the clock certain possessions and started to play a lot slower than we had the whole game, Then you’re subject to makes and misses with their defense set. Then, on the other end, they made play after play after play.” Steph said

Fans have often targeted Steph for his poor records in the clutch, and this blunder against the Nuggets gave them another chance. This season Stephen Curry performed brilliantly in the clutch and shut the mouth of many of them trolls. His stats in the clutch improved by a high margin.

Surprisingly, he is leading the clutch point list with a big margin of 31 points. Stephen Curry is once again on a streak to prove himself as one of the most influential players in the NBA. The clutch trolls against him still surface on the NBA Twitter, but no one can deny that he is one of the finest right now. There is a possibility that he is going to be the face of the NBA after LeBron James retires. LeBron who is already 39 is expected to retire very soon, many names are coming up for being the face of the NBA, and Stephen Curry tops that list.
