13 Reasons Why is an American teen drama developed by Netflix. It is based on Jay Asher’s novel of the same name which was released in 2007. The show is focused on the suicide of Hannah Baker, a high school student who leaves a box of cassette tapes detailing the reasons for her suicide.

When were first two seasons released?
The first season of 13 Reasons Why dropped on Netflix in March 2017 and garnered a huge fan base. The series was renewed by the online streaming platform in 2018 for a second season which released in the same year.
Now fans are eagerly waiting for the third season of the show to see where the series will take our favorite characters. The official Twitter handle of the show revealed that the third season would most likely be released this year in July.

Hannah won’t return
The news comes as a huge relief for fans of the series as they have been waiting for a long time for the show to return. However, fans of Hannah Baker may be disappointed to know that the actress won’t be returning to the third season as she has completed her character arc.
Sources have also revealed that there is something interesting brewing for the season 3 of the show. We will have to wait until the release to find out what it is.
