Netflix has added a bunch of new movies and shows to their lineup. This week, the additions include a new nature docu-series, a sequel to a popular Netflix action movie, and all the seasons of a lawyer series from the USA Network.
Our Planet II
First up is Our Planet II. The team behind Planet Earth and Our Planet is back with a sequel and this time they are looking at the migration patterns of certain animals as well as telling the stories of a variety of different creations all around the world. And they are doing it with awe-inspiring cinematography.
The docu-series hits Netflix on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
Extraction 2
Looking for a little more action? We have been waiting for what feels like a long time (it has been about three years!) but the wait is finally over for Extraction 2. The sequel to the 2020 movie came to Netflix on Friday, June 16.
After barely surviving in the first movie, Tyler Rake is back with his team, and this time they are trying to extract a family who is being held by a Georgian gangster. Tyler has to sneak his way into a dangerous prison and when the gangster dies and his brother seeks his revenge on Tyler, the mission turns more deadly than Tyler could have ever imagined.
The cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Golshifteh Farahani, Rudhraksh Jaiswal,
Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, and Tinatin Dalakishvili.
