Everyone is now in the expanding business. Big companies are trying to get bigger and bigger. Time Warner and AT&T are about to merge, and Disney has the control of 21st Century Fox now. Comcast owns Illumination studios and the NBC Universal.
And not only the expansion, every video making company is slowly getting into the streaming media business. Disney, which now owns the control of Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar, is looking to start its own live streaming media to compete against Netflix. Similar plans are now of Amazon, Comcast and AT&T along with Time Warner. Streaming media is the steaming business right now and everyone wants a piece of it.

The only person who will suffer in this competition is the consumer. Currently, a single Netflix subscription can get you the access to all the Marvel movies and DC shows. However, if Disney comes up, the user might have to buy multiple subscriptions for the different streaming sites.
However, it’s still to early to jump into any conclusion. We have to wait till this Cold War begins.
