The fans of the horror movie “Bird Box” are taking their love to another level, but Netflix doesn’t want people to take up this challenge and hurt themselves.
On Wednesday, the streaming service said,
Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.
The everyday hash tag trend has led people to blindly follow whatever they are challenged to do, but at times this might end up hurting them. But this time it’s not about haircuts or famous dance moves, but people are blindfolding themselves and their kids just to follow the trend and it is not at all safe for them.
On Twitter, people were seen following this ridiculous trend and we are not sure about the adults, but the children are definitely not up for it. Some You Tubers took this challenge to another level by blindfolding themselves for an entire day and went around living their lives just fine.
The video has got 1.7 million views and more. Another video featured a family filming their kids blindfolded and riding a car around their home.

Sandra Bullock starer horror movie “Bird Box” shows her guiding two little children to safety amidst an apocalypse where monsters are hunting humans. The movie has a different concept where the humans who spot these monsters kill themselves. This is the reason why we see the protagonist in blindfolds in the movie.
The movie also features John Malkovich, Sarah Paulson, Machine Gun Kelly, Trevante Rhodes and Jackie Weaver. The movie has broken the Netflix record in one week. It has also been declared as the scariest movie of 2018 by Reese Witherspoon.
