She complemented her outfit with intricate dangling earrings and had her hair pulled back. Affleck, 51, was by her side in a timeless black suit and necktie. The married duo — who said their vows in August 2022 — exchanged a loving kiss on the carpet.
Lopez was one of the celebrities featured in ELLE’s 2023 Women in Hollywood edition. Joining her were Nina Garcia, America Ferrera, Danielle Brooks, Eva Longoria, Fantasia Barrino, Greta Lee, Jodie Foster, Lily Gladstone and Taraji P. Henson.
In her interview with ELLE, Lopez discussed her views on the increasing availability of acting roles for more mature women. She said,
“People have realized that women just get sexier as they get older. They get more learned and more rich with character.”
Adding further,
“All of that is very beautiful and attractive, and not just physically, but on the inside, the beauty that you gain as you get older, the wisdom you gain.”
Jennifer Lopez made it clear that she doesn’t have any intention of bringing her professional life to a close anytime soon.
“It might be 70, it might be 80, it might be 90, I don’t know. That has always been the mindset that I’ve had: To never let anybody put me in a box because of where I was born, where I’m from, what age I am, anything like that. Those boundaries don’t exist for me.”
Lopez’s upcoming album, This Is Me… Now, will be available starting Feb. 16, following the release of the first single, Can’t Get Enough, on Jan. 10.
